Biography

Diane Carrow was born in Grapeseed, Blaine County, and has spent most of her working life in public service in the north of the State.

Blaine County

She was Blaine County Administrator when the Alamo Sea flooded in 2009. With the phone lines down and the county website unreachable, she wrote the county's updates by hand and pinned them to a noticeboard outside the Sandy Shores county office every few hours, day and night, until the water went down. Residents called her "the noticeboard woman", and the name stuck.

Office of Emergency Services

From 2012 to 2022 she was Director of the State Office of Emergency Services. She built the State's mutual-aid arrangements with county and city services and brought the alerting work of the Office of Emergency Management under one roof.

Lieutenant Governor and Governor

She was elected Lieutenant Governor in 2022. Governor Richard Ashcombe died at Fort Zancudo at 03:47 on Saturday 26 September 2026, after suffering a cardiac arrest as the earthquake struck. Diane Carrow took the oath of office as the 41st Governor of San Andreas on Sunday 27 September 2026 at the temporary seat of government, Fort Zancudo, before the Chief Justice of the San Andreas Supreme Court.

On her first evening in office she cancelled every measure in the statement of 26 September, dismissed the Chief of Staff, Harlan J. Mercer, and announced the Earthquake Support Payment of $10,000, which the State pays automatically. On 1 October she announced the agreement with President Lucy Alvarez under which the Government of Coral Island is helping to rebuild Los Santos.

I would rather tell you it will take a year and finish early than promise you a month and let you down.
